This square kerchief-scarf is made from both cotton and wool yarn and measuring at about 33 x 39”. Handwoven in the summer + winter weave structure from a historic coverlet profile draft with the repeating leaf motif.

A natural undyed cotton warp, soft pink tabby weft, and a lichen-lime green wool pattern weft. Two selvedge edges and two raw hems with a zig-zag stitch finish.

Folded once into a triangle and then wrapped once around the neck makes for a wonderfully cozy scarf but can also be tied like a kerchief or fastened with a sweater pin.

Care + material details: Infrequent washing suggested, can machine wash on delicate cycle (using only a mild detergent) and hang-dry or lay flat. Can also wash delicately by hand with a mild pH-neutral soap. Woven with a combination of undyed and mill-dyed cotton, and mill-dyed wool.
