This square kerchief-scarf is made from both cotton and wool yarn and measuring at about 32 x 32”. Handwoven in the summer + winter weave structure from a historic profile draft with the repeating leaf motif.
A natural undyed cotton warp, multicolor tabby weft, and a striped multicolor wool pattern weft. Two selvedge edges and two raw hems with a zig-zag stitch finish.
Folded once into a triangle and then wrapped once around the neck makes for a wonderfully cozy scarf but can also be tied like a kerchief or fastened with a sweater pin.
Care: For less-frequent washing, machine wash on delicate cycle with a hang-dry. For frequent washing, delicately wash by hand and hang-dry. Woven with mill-dyed cotton and wool.
